The 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) concluded at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao'an District on Saturday, marking historic milestones.

It achieved record-breaking figures of 120 billion yuan (US$16.6 billion) in intended transactions and over 400,000 professional visitors, both exceeding the previous edition. The event drew nearly 5,000 distinguished enterprises and international organizations from over 100 countries and regions. More than 4,300 new products and achievements were unveiled during the fair.

Zhang Lin, director-general of the Shenzhen Municipal Science, Technology, and Innovation Bureau, hosted a livestream show Thursday to introduce viewers to highlights of the 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF).

One key highlight was Hall 11, which showcased the low-altitude economy. Zhang guided the audience through the hall via camera, highlighting what Shenzhen has to offer in this emerging sector.

"The low-altitude economy has captured global attention, but utilizing airspace below 1,000 meters can be challenging. Shenzhen offers solutions, including aircraft for low altitudes and management systems for efficient drone operation and manned flights," he explained.

Zhang introduced the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Digital Economy Academy (IDEA), announcing that it will soon launch the Smart Integrated Lower Airspace System (SILAS).
