Guangming District marked a significant milestone in its industrial development on March 18 with the official opening of the Guangming Digital Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park.

This facility is the district's first pilot project dedicated to high-quality industrial space and is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding 2 billion yuan.

The park is home to the first batch of eight quality enterprises, which span cutting-edge industries such as artificial intelligence, precision instruments, and equipment manufacturing. This development is poised to inject considerable momentum into Guangming's ambitions to establish a new model of industrialization and to serve as a demonstration zone for enhanced productivity.

Located in the Lisonglang community of Gongming Subdistrict, the new industrial park is designed to meet the diverse needs of businesses at various stages of the industrial chain. The facility features modern, high-standard factory buildings that comply with the latest "Shenzhen standards."

Covering an area of approximately 22,000 square meters with a total built-up area of around 110,000 square meters, the park includes about 93,000 square meters of factory space, 13,000 square meters of dormitory accommodations, and several essential public service facilities, including commercial areas, a cafeteria, a food center, a community health center, and sports activity spaces.

The park's amenities and strategic offerings have successfully attracted a variety of enterprises, leading to an impressive 85% occupancy rate. With its emphasis on high standards and innovation, the foundation laid by these initial companies will be key to driving Guangming's economic and industrial growth.

In recent years, Guangming District has been actively pursuing the development of contiguous industrial spaces. A total of 5.42 million square meters of high-quality industrial space has been constructed or upgraded or in 2024.
