From September 12 to 14, the 2025 Shenzhen International Intelligent Elderly Care Industry Expo was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The event brought together more than 260 enterprises from around the world, showcasing over 2,000 smart elderly care products.
The Guangming District Civil Affairs Bureau organized a dedicated pavilion to showcase the district's progress in building a smart elderly care ecosystem. Over the three days, the expo attracted nearly 20,000 professional visitors, with Guangming's pavilion securing multiple major cooperation agreements and innovation achievements.
The Guangming delegation stood out for its diverse participation. It featured leading elderly care institutions such as Gongming Welfare Institute — a five-star elderly care institution in Guangdong Province serving the Greater Bay Area—and Guangming Social Welfare Institute, accredited under the “Guangdong Residential Care Service Scheme.” Also participating were two major innovation engines, the Shenzhen Institute of Brain Science and Technology Innovation Center and Guangming Tian'an Cloud Valley Industrial Park, along with several local enterprises specializing in smart elderly care. Together, they demonstrated Guangming's comprehensive ecosystem in this emerging sector.
During the expo, two projects announced plans to settle in Guangming. Uanmed (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and Yinfakz (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build a high-end medical–elderly care demonstration project in the district. The partnership will integrate Uanmed's advanced medical technologies and professional hearing products with Yinfakz's community care service network, creating a new model of “scientific elderly care” tailored to Guangming's senior population.
In another highlight, Haier Smart Home, a global leader in smart living solutions, signed an agreement with Guangming-based Virtue's Family Technology. The collaboration will bring Haier's cutting-edge smart home ecosystem into local community elderly care services.
A representative of the Guangming District Civil Affairs Bureau noted that participation in the expo was an important step in implementing China's national strategy to actively respond to population aging while promoting the coordinated development of elderly care services and industries.
