Shenzhen Kefa Jishi Biotech Co., Ltd. has launched a new biopharmaceutical project in the Xinxinghu area of Matian Subdistrict, marking another major investment in Shenzhen’s growing life sciences sector.

According to information from Shenzhen’s online investment approval platform, the project is planned as a next-generation intelligent manufacturing base for cell and gene therapy (CGT). The site is located near the intersection of Xingtian Road and Xinke Road and is designated for industrial use.

Officials said the project aligns with Guangming District’s strategy to build a biopharmaceutical industry cluster and will strengthen the district’s advanced manufacturing capabilities in emerging biomedical technologies.

The Xinxinghu area is one of Guangming’s four key development zones, focusing on industries including new energy, advanced materials and biomanufacturing. The area has already attracted companies such as Feirongda, Skyworth Photovoltaic and Comen Medical.
