Shenzhen Guangming Wyndham Grand Hotel has been named the "Best Luxury Business Hotel of 2026" at the Seventh China Hotel Menduner Awards, one of the country's leading hospitality industry honors.

As one of China’s most influential and credible annual hospitality industry awards, the Menduner Awards are determined through a combination of public voting and evaluations by industry leaders and expert judges, recognizing excellence across the hotel sector.

The recognition comes as Guangming accelerates the development of its cultural, tourism, business and sports sectors. The district’s accommodation industry recorded double-digit revenue growth in 2025, supported by the emergence of major commercial hubs and rising visitor numbers.

Guangming has continued to upgrade its hospitality offerings in 2026. The newly approved five-star Grand Mercure Shenzhen Guangming has become the district’s first officially rated five-star tourist hotel, further enhancing its capacity to host major business, cultural and tourism events.

The district now has 18 hotels meeting four-star standards, including internationally branded properties such as Wyndham Grand, Four Points by Sheraton and EVEN Hotel. These facilities have become key venues for conferences, business exchanges and leisure travel.

Guangming’s accommodation network has expanded to 130 licensed hotels and guesthouses, creating a diversified and high-quality hospitality market.

As part of its broader tourism strategy, Guangming is promoting deeper integration of culture, commerce, tourism and sports, while encouraging hotels to partner with campsites, study-tour bases and other attractions to develop one-stop travel experiences and attract more overnight visitors.
