X-run Digital Innovation (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., based in Guangming District’s Overseas Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, focuses on full-stack edge AI vision solutions that integrate algorithms, software and hardware development.

Edge vision combines edge computing and computer vision technologies, allowing devices such as cameras, vehicle chips and industrial terminals to process visual data locally without relying on cloud servers. The technology is increasingly used in areas including advanced driver assistance, smart manufacturing and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Founded in 2021, the firm has developed solutions for global automakers and smart device manufacturers, covering areas such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), driver monitoring systems, 3D visual sensing and intelligent terminals.

The company was founded by Qu Xindi, a doctoral graduate in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, who has more than two decades of experience in intelligent vehicles, artificial intelligence and IoT technologies.

The company has built an integrated research and development system covering chips, algorithms and hardware, enabling products to move from technology development to large-scale production. Its ADAS products have entered mass production with Japanese automakers, while its automatic emergency braking systems have secured projects with overseas vehicle manufacturers. Other products, including driver monitoring systems and 3D time-of-flight cameras, have also achieved stable supply.
