IO-AI Tech, a Guangming-based company developing data infrastructure for robotics and embodied artificial intelligence, has announced the completion of a new financing round worth hundreds of millions of yuan.

Founded in 2023, IO-AI Tech is a key robotics and embodied AI company supported by Guangming District. The company focuses on building real-world data infrastructure and capabilities for robots and embodied AI.

Unlike companies focused solely on data collection services or teleoperation hardware, IO-AI Tech positions itself as a full-stack data infrastructure provider. Through integrated in-house software and hardware development, the company has built an end-to-end product system covering robot teleoperation, human data collection and embodied data management, connecting data collection in real-world environments with data management, model training and feedback-based optimization.

The new funding will be used primarily for core product development, team expansion and global market growth. The company plans to further strengthen its capabilities in robot teleoperation data collection, human data capture, data management and closed-loop model training, while lowering the barriers to deploying embodied AI models in real-world environments.

The investment is expected to accelerate the transition of robotics and embodied AI from technology validation to large-scale commercial applications.
