A gala for cycling enthusiasts was held at Hongqiao Park in Guangming District from Nov. 8 to 10.

The event, called the 2nd "Guangming Cup" Cross-Strait and Hong Kong-Macao Bicycle Race Series, attracted about 400 elite riders from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao.

The event was not just about races but also celebrated the biking culture with exhibitions and engaging activities.

With passionate competitions, carnivals, and an industry feast, the gala catered to different experiences, ensuring endless fun for all participants eager to delve into the world of cycling.

From professional riders to women, talented individuals, and other members of the public, the diverse mix of participants added to the excitement of the event.

The festivities included a captivating outdoor grassland music concert, providing the perfect backdrop for attendees to savor unique Taiwanese, Hong Kong, and Macanese delicacies at the vibrant market — a delightful blend of music, food, and stories from enthusiastic cyclists.

A showcase of top bicycle brands like Xidesheng and CST Tires added a touch of inspiration and creativity to the event, elevating the overall biking experience for enthusiasts.

While adults enjoyed the cycling competitions, children had their share of fun with parent-child activities featuring children's balance scooters, designed to bring joy, skill development, and safety into play.

Adding a unique twist to the traditional races, an electronic riding challenge was introduced, allowing cyclists to test their skills and compete in this innovative format.
