A total of 37 Shenzhen companies have been recognized in the 2024 Green Manufacturing List by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Five companies from Guangming District were included on the list, with four listed as Green Factories and one as a Green Supply Chain company.
The four listed Guangming Green Factories are Shenzhen CLOU Electronics Co. Ltd., Shenzhen ZESUM Technology Co. Ltd., Ocean’s King Lighting Science & Technology Co. Ltd., and Lenovo Information Products (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. The Green Supply Chain company in Guangming was awarded to BTR New Material Group Co. Ltd.
A Green Factory is characterized by a company that excels in intensive land utilization, employs harmless raw materials, maintains clean production processes, effectively manages waste, and adopts low-carbon energy practices.
A Green Supply Chain company is one that integrates green and low-carbon development principles across all stages of its operations, from product design and raw material sourcing to production, transportation, storage, sales, usage, and disposal, thereby enhancing the overall green performance of the supply chain.
