In a festive start to the New Year, Honghuashan Sports Center in Guangming District has announced an enticing promotion for its badminton courts. Customers who reserve a badminton court for one hour at the regular rate will receive an additional hour.

This special offer is valid until Feb. 28.

The center, a cultural and sports landmark in the district, officially opened to the public on Dec. 19 last year after significant expansion and renovation, which commenced in 2021.

Nestled at the crossroads of Anfa Road and Zhenming Road in Gongming Subdistrict, the sports center stands adjacent to the picturesque Honghuashan Park on its western flank.

Moreover, the convenience of being near the Honghuashan Station on Metro Line 6 caters to the needs of the approximately 503,300 residents living within a 3-kilometer radius. 

Boasting a sprawling area of around 63,000 square meters and a total construction area nearing 54,000 square meters, the center offers a wealth of amenities. These include a sports hall with a seating capacity of around 3,000, a versatile multi-functional hall housing a temperature-controlled swimming pool with about 250 seats, 22 badminton courts, and 4 tennis courts. 

Additionally, sports enthusiasts can revel in the presence of a 400-meter track and field stadium, an 11-a-side soccer field accommodating approximately 4,000 spectators, an underground garage equipped with approximately 400 parking spaces, and expansive leisure spaces totaling approximately 9,800 square meters.
