The vibrant essence of the Lunar New Year season is set to come alive at the Chinese New Year Painting Exhibition in Guangming District's Pyrograph Base.

This event promises a fusion of traditional art, festive activities, and joyful celebrations, offering visitors an immersive experience into the world of ancient Chinese customs and blessings.

Originating from the revered "Door God paintings" of antiquity, Chinese New Year paintings have seamlessly transitioned over millennia to become symbolic expressions of well-wishes and prosperity for the coming year. Over 200 captivating artworks, depicting urban development, rural customs, and contemporary themes, will be on display at the main exhibition venue at the Pyrograph Base.

Beyond the stunning art on display, attendees can partake in a range of engaging activities to enliven their Spring Festival experience. Workshops will also be held where visitors can craft their own Chinese New Year paintings.

Adding to the festive spirit, guests can immerse themselves in age-old traditions such as writing couplets, making traditional lanterns, and solving lantern riddles during the Lantern Festival celebrations.
