As the 15th National Games gear up to take place from Nov. 9 to 21, Guangming District announced the full completion of its designated competition venues. Key sites include the Guangming International Equestrian Center, the Science Park Equestrian Cross-Country Course, the Speed BMX Track, the Hongqiao Park Freestyle BMX Track, and the Shenzhen Youth Football Training Base—each meticulously prepared to host top-tier events.
Located on the east side of Guangcan Road, the Guangming International Equestrian Center spans some 50,000 square meters and benefits from a scenic setting surrounded by forests, parks, and memorial gardens. This "natural oxygen bar" offers athletes and spectators a refreshing environment that harmoniously blends with nature.
Nearby in Science Park, a 4.6-kilometer equestrian cross-country course weaves seamlessly through the natural landscape. Designed to follow the terrain’s contours, the course provides riders with a unique experience.
For extreme sports fans, the Speed BMX Track in Tangwei Community boasts approximately 17,000 square meters of premium imported red clay surface that meets the strict standards of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). This ensures high grip and cushioning, allowing athletes to perform breathtaking high-speed races safely.
Adding to the BMX offerings, the Hongqiao Park Freestyle BMX Track covers nearly 10,000 square meters and features an “aerial stage” structure designed by G.Ramps, an official UCI supplier. The track has undergone rigorous testing by professional riders and has been approved by UCI and the Chinese Cycling Association.
In Gongming Subdistrict, the Shenzhen Youth Football Training Base is ready for this major sporting event. Covering about 197,000 square meters, this state-of-the-art facility includes a central stadium accommodating 10,000 spectators and integrates professional training, sports research, medical support, education, and comprehensive services into a national-level youth development platform.
The training base’s world-class standards were showcased during the successful hosting of the AFC U20 Asian Cup in February 2025, further proving its readiness to host the men’s U20 and U18 football competitions during the National Games.
