The Guangming Science City Hetao Innovation Center has recently started operation in the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone (HTCZ).

Established by the Guangming District People’s Government and managed by Guangming Kefa Group, the center aims to strengthen ties between Guangming Science City and HTCZ by enabling smoother exchange of research resources, speeding up the commercialization of scientific breakthroughs and testing coordinated policies to support innovation.

By linking resources from HTCZ, Hong Kong, and global partners, the center hopes to expand Guangming Science City’s international influence and help build a world-class open innovation ecosystem. In addition, the center will deepen synergy between Shenzhen and Hong Kong in both technology and policy innovation.
“This isn’t just a display window for the latest tech from Guangming and Hetao Shenzhen Park, but also a collaborative hub connecting Guangming Science City and Hetao,” said a project representative.

To foster collaboration, the center will host regular workshops, startup pitch sessions, training programs, and networking events, creating an environment where talent, funding, and ideas can move freely between the two innovation hubs.
