On July 18, the renowned Florence Chamber Orchestra will present a spectacular film music concert at the Guangming Culture & Art Center in Shenzhen. The orchestra, praised by the BBC as the “ultimate answer to film symphonies,” will captivate audiences with a program centered on the legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone, featuring iconic scores from classics such as "The Legend of 1900," "Once Upon a Time in America," and "The Godfather."
Rooted in Florence's rich Renaissance heritage, the orchestra brings a distinctive Italian charm characterized by melodic richness, emotional depth, and passionate, romantic performances. Alongside Morricone's masterpieces, the concert will include works by other celebrated Italian composers including Nicola Piovani and Nino Rota, as well as selections paying tribute to Federico Fellini.
The performance will last approximately 75 minutes without intermission.
