A Spring Festival fair will be held at Honghuashan Park in Guangming from Feb. 7 to Feb. 22, blending natural scenery with cultural traditions and contemporary "guochao," or China-chic, elements.

The fair will feature a range of themed markets, including a food bazaar showcasing flavors from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a New Year goods market offering traditional decorations and handcrafted gifts, and a flower market selling fresh blooms and greenery for home decoration.

Visitors will also be able to watch a lineup of cultural performances throughout the event. Traditional folk shows such as lion dances, fish lantern parades, Sichuan opera face-changing, and shadow puppetry will be staged alongside newer acts including modern interpretations of traditional music. Interactive costumed performers will circulate through the park, offering photo opportunities with visitors.

The park will install multiple themed photo spots and interactive game areas. Visitors who complete stamp-collection tasks can redeem festive gifts.

At the park’s south gate plaza, a wishing wall and large lantern installations will be set up, while a 3.1-meter-tall inflatable mascot symbolizing good fortune will be displayed on the lawn area.
