Filmmakers and industry professionals attending the 15th China International New Media Director Support Program visited Guangming District on March 16, exploring key sites to experience the area’s blend of technology, ecology and urban development.

The delegation toured the Guangming District Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, where they learned about the district’s transformation into a key high-tech hub centering on the Guangming Science City, gaining insights into its development plans and future vision.

At Hongqiao Park, known for its 4-kilometer elevated red walkway, visitors viewed the integration of urban landscapes and natural scenery. Several international guests said the park’s cinematic views and ecological design offered strong visual inspiration.

The group also visited the Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum, where interactive exhibits and futuristic design highlighted the district’s innovation capacity and technological achievements.

Participants said Guangming’s combination of advanced technology, green spaces and rapid urban development provides rich material for film and media projects, with the potential to reach global audiences.
