A delegation from Guangming visited Budapest, Hungary, from May 28 to 29 to strengthen economic ties and industrial cooperation with the country, resulting in partnership agreements and business orders worth more than 1.5 billion yuan (US$208 million).

During the visit, the delegation met with key institutions and companies, including Semmelweis University, Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency, Videoton, TÜV Rheinland Hungary and CTP Group, to explore opportunities for cooperation in biomedical research, advanced manufacturing, investment promotion and market access services.

At a business exchange conference in Budapest attended by nearly 70 local companies and organizations, Guangming promoted the innovation ecosystem of Guangming Science City and its strengths in strategic industries. Companies from Guangming, including Sunwoda, BTR New Material Group, Comen and Dymind Biotechnology, signed cooperation agreements covering the biomedicine, advanced manufacturing and new energy sectors.

The delegation also launched the Guangming Overseas Business Services Alliance and inaugurated its first overseas service workstation in Hungary through a strategic partnership with CTP Group. The new platform is designed to help local companies expand into European markets by providing investment, certification and localization support.
