A service station for foreign professionals working in China was launched on July 3 at the X-CASA Talent Development Center (X-CASA人才发展联络中心) in Guangming District, offering one-stop support for international talent.

As Guangming’s only municipal-level foreign talent service station, the center provides policy consultations, application services and rights protection support for overseas professionals. It also introduced a new service model combining fixed appointment hours and online reservations, with dedicated service sessions held on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month and personalized guidance available through online booking.

During the launch event, Guangdong Sundial (Guangming) Law Firm provided a public legal service briefing on employment-related issues for expats in China, while the International Medical Center of the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University introduced international healthcare services.

Returnee entrepreneur Zhuang Pingping shared her experience of studying overseas and starting a business in Guangming Science City, offering suggestions on improving international services and building a more inclusive innovation ecosystem.

Foreign talent representatives also received Shenzhen Travel Cards, an AI-powered travel service card featuring multilingual translation and tourism support in 145 languages.

Opened in March, X-CASA Talent Development Center is Guangming’s first dedicated international talent service hub, equipped with bilingual staff and translation facilities. The center aims to build a full-service network covering government affairs, entrepreneurship support and daily-life services for global talent.
