The 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Brain-Computer Interface Industry Innovation Conference will be held Oct. 21 in Guangming.
The event will bring together scientists, industry leaders and investors to explore advances in brain-computer interfaces and their industrial applications. Organizers plan to set up 70 to 100 exhibition booths showcasing the industry supply chain.
The conference will feature an opening plenary, a closed-door expert meeting, an industry exhibition, as well as multiple breakout sessions and business-matching events.
Five initiatives will be unveiled during the event, covering technology transfer, clinical services, an industry map, an international expansion consortium and a global competition. Two innovation consortiums are also expected to sign agreements, focusing on human-machine interaction and collaboration.
Six breakout sessions will address frontier research, industry development, clinical translation and financial investment, with the goal of strengthening links between basic research, technology development, clinical validation and commercialization.
