The Shenzhen Youth Football Training Base in Lisonglang Community, Gongming Subdistrict, is both a hub for football and a showcase of technology and green design. As the venue for the men's U20 and U18 football matches of the 15th National Games in 2025, it combines top-level facilities with innovative planning to energize the tournament.

Covering 197,000 square meters with a total floor area of 83,738 square meters, the base integrates training, science, medicine, education, and services. It features a professional stadium with 10,000 seats, a fitness and recreation center, athlete dormitories, a training and rehabilitation research center, a bus terminal, and a public football park. The compact layout blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment, while spectator stands connect with the park to make the venue both professional and community-friendly. Athlete facilities, designed with youth in mind, include courtyard-style spaces that encourage interaction.

Since its first phase opened, the base has hosted major competitions such as the Shenzhen Games, youth championships, elite leagues, the Shenzhen City League, and the “Shenzhen Cup,” accumulating extensive event experience ahead of the National Games.

The natural turf pitches are equipped with drainage and ventilation systems and certified by FIFA-accredited Labosport. Lighting meets Class VI standards, ensuring shadow-free, broadcast-ready conditions for international competitions. Advanced training systems also provide data-driven support to athletes and referees, enhancing performance and decision-making.

Sustainability is central to the base's design. Photovoltaic panels on stands, parking areas, and corridors feed into the grid through a self-use and surplus-sharing model. Ultra-fast charging stations and EV chargers not only support daily needs but also serve as emergency backup power. This integrated “solar-storage-charging” model highlights Shenzhen's role as a pioneer of green, low-carbon urban development.
