Lychee was historically a signature agricultural product of Loucun Village in Gongming, once known as the “Lychee Capital of China” and “No.1 Lychee Village.” Over 100 years ago, large lychee orchards flourished there, and by the 1980s, the village boasted a “ten-thousand-mu lychee forest.” Popular lychee varieties include Nuomici, Guiwei, Feizixiao, and Heiye.
