Guangming Science City, which is situated in the northwest of Shenzhen, is located at an important node of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. Bounded by Longda Expressway in the west, Guangming Science City reaches out to the boundary between Shenzhen and Dongguan in the north and the boundary of Guangming District in the southeast to occupy a planned area of 99 square kilometers.
Cluster of Facilities

We will focus on building large-scale scientific facilities and establishing research institutes and institutions of higher education. Also, we aim to create a "scientific forest" surrounded by mountains, lakes and trees. In the future, our focus will be given to the construction of the three clusters namely a cluster of large-scale scientific facilities, integrated science and education cluster, and science and technology innovation cluster.

Guangming Central Zone
In this area, we aim to build a comprehensive service center. Therefore, a "LOHAS area" will be formed with a central park and well spaced vertical city.
Industry Transformation Zone

Based on the construction of Phoenix City, we will not only build an achievement transformation platform and industry innovation platform, but also cultivate and arrange the layout of the emerging industries. Thus, a "Shared Wisdom Valley" which is full of ecological connotations and a scientific and cultural atmosphere will be built.

Green Surroundings
Guangming Science City is home to the ecology corridor built along Maozhou River and the country parks nearby. It will give full play to the tourism and leisure function of Guangming Town and provide Guangming Science City with a quality ecological environment and public areas.
