Guangming District hosted an investment promotion conference in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu Province, on Nov. 24, signing 12 projects with local enterprises, Bao'an Daily reported.

The projects' annual output value is expected to exceed 2 billion yuan (US$279.56 million).

The Guangming District Investment Promotion Conference & High-end Medical Device Innovation and Development Conference attracted over 50 medical device, intelligent sensor, and other related enterprises to seek development opportunities.

The conference, hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and the Guangming District Government, was organized by the Guangming District Investment Promotion Service Center, Yutang Subdistrict, and Guochuang Yucheng Medical Device Development (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.

"We value the industrial agglomeration, infrastructure, open market, and future development potential of Guangming District. Our company aims to maintain its competitive and leading edge in the industry by having a branch there to find our market in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area," a Suzhou businessman said at the conference.

"We like the business environment, the industry planning, and the government services in the district. We appreciate the tailored settlement plans for different enterprises provided by the government," another Suzhou businessman said.
