Three industrial clusters from Guangming District have been shortlisted in the city's overall plan for future development, Bao'an Daily reported Thursday, citing a layout plan for Shenzhen's headquarters economic clusters.

The Shenzhen government released 40 headquarters economic clusters in the plan, including three in Guangming, namely the Guangming Lake Life Science and Technology Headquarters Economic Cluster for high-tech enterprises, the Guangming Phoenix City International R&D and Advanced Manufacturing Headquarters Economic Cluster for advanced manufacturing, and the Guangming Central District Science and Technology Service Headquarters Economic Cluster for the modern service industry.

The planned 40 clusters have a total planned area of 94.08 square kilometers, covering 10 industry categories such as high-tech enterprises, advanced manufacturing, and future industries, and spread across all districts in Shenzhen.

By jurisdiction, there are six in Futian District, four in Luohu, one in Yantian, eight in Nanshan (including two in Qianhai Cooperation Zone), five in Bao'an (including two in Qianhai Cooperation Zone), one jointly built by Nanshan and Bao'an districts (located in Qianhai Cooperation Zone), four in Longgang, three in Longhua, two in Pingshan, three in Guangming, one in Dapeng New Area, and two in the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone.

The plan proposes that by 2025, headquarters economic clusters with high concentration, outstanding characteristics, and reasonable layout will be established. By 2030, headquarters economic clusters with high-end industries, active innovation elements, and rich human resources will be fully established, and Shenzhen will strive to become a center for world-class headquarters economic clusters.
