Major scenic spots in Guangming District received a total of 208,800 tourists during the three-day 2024 New Year holiday, up by 192.1% year on year, the official Shenzhen Guangming WeChat account reported.

The scenic spots' direct tourism revenue hit 2.32 million yuan (US$326,853), increasing 34.23% year on year.

Among them, the Guangming Farm tourism area received a total of 112,100 tourists, Minghu City Park received 54,900 tourists, Guangming Mahogany Furniture Town (Redwood Town) had 14,100 tourists, and Honghuashan Park welcomed 27,700 visitors.

The district also hosted a Wonderful Life Festival and six sports events during the holiday.
