Guangming District will take part in the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) and set up a booth at the fair, which will open June 7.

The Guangming booth is located at Booth 11B08 in Hall 11 of the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao'an District, covering an exhibition area of 350 square meters.

As a pioneering comprehensive science center in the nation, Guangming will set up an exhibition area themed as "A Pastoral-style Science City."

The district government is joining hands with a group of excellent enterprises to showcase the district's high-quality cultural and tourism development achievements. At the same time, the district's cultural and tourism products will also be exhibited for the first time.

In terms of design, the Guangming booth is inspired by the Rainbow and Glass bridges, which are Internet hit landmark tourist sites in the district, to create a more immersive display platform.

The traditional bridges' design also symbolizes connection and exchanges, showcasing that Guangming is a place that connects green ecology and future technology, making the exhibition area more interactive and high-tech.

The booth is divided into a Guangming impression area, an enterprise exhibition area, a Guangming products area and a negotiation area.

Fairgoers can learn more about the construction of Guangming Science City, the development of Guangming's cultural, sports and tourism, as well as key enterprises through images and videos.

The exhibition area also features various interactive activities such as intangible cultural heritage food tasting experience, DIY clothing production and pyrography experience.

Pyrography, also called Fire Needle Embroidery, is an age-old type of painting in China. By utilizing the carbonization principle and temperature-control techniques, pyrographing is used as a major method assisted by coloring different materials without using any paints.

In addition, Guangming District has also set up nine supporting cultural activities, where citizens can experience the unique traditional culture of the district like Guangming Mahogany Furniture Town (Redwood Town) and pyrography art exhibitions.

Visitors can also participate in cycling activities at the Guangming Xidesheng Bicycle Culture Festival and go to the "Camping+Car Trunk Creative Market."
