Yutang Subdistrict has worked to create a vibrant and dynamic community park by beautifying the litchi forest, installing convenient charging stations, constructing an ecological parking lot, improving traffic conditions and adding children's entertainment facilities such as slides and sand pits. These additions provide an interactive space for residents in the vicinity.
To promote anti-drug knowledge and raise public awareness of the fight against drugs, the park displays signs and boards related to drug prevention. Additionally, artworks featuring Niuniu, the city's anti-drug intellectual property (IP) image, adorn a zero-carbon greenway within the park.
Since its opening, the park has hosted approximately 40 events organized by anti-drug volunteers, attracting over 3,500 participants. These events encompass activities such as drug identification, lectures on drug laws and regulations, and education on drug prevention.
Yutang Subdistrict plans to continue organizing visits and events in the park, particularly for teenagers. This approach aims to ensure that a broader audience receives education on drug prevention.
