Overseas doctors and post-doctoral researchers visit Shenzhen Engineering Biological Industry Innovation Center in Guangming District.

The Shenzhen Overseas Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Matchmaking Conference was held at Guangming Science City from Dec. 22 to 23, Bao'an Daily reported.

Over 30 overseas doctors and post-doctoral researchers visited the Guangming District Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Hongqiao Park, and Shenzhen Bay Laboratory Guangming Biomedical Innovation Center to experience the district's development vision and innovation and entrepreneurship environment. 

The district's talent work bureau introduced talent policies of Guangming Science City, and professionals from Shenzhen Bay Laboratory and Guangming District Overseas Students Park promoted the district's business environment as representatives of key enterprises and institutions.

In the talent exchange and interaction session, overseas talents exchanged ideas with representatives from scientific research institutions, universities, hospitals, industrial parks, and technology companies.

"Hongqiao Park is very beautiful, and I like the natural environment here very much," one of the overseas talents said. "I want to join Guangming Science City," another one said.

The visitors said they have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the advantages of Guangming Science City as the pioneering area of the comprehensive national science center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and hope to have the opportunity to start a business or find employment in the area in the future.
