Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) and Guangming District has signed a cooperative agreement in basic education from kindergarten to high school in Guangming on Tuesday.

The signing marks SZTU officially forming a strategic partnership with the Guangming District Government.

Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, said at the signing ceremony that both parties' strength in education resources has laid a solid foundation for their future cooperation. SZTU will help the district in building a world-class science city and the central area of northern Shenzhen.

Zhang Zongping, deputy head of Guangming District, said at the ceremony that Guangming has expedited the construction of high-quality basic education to support the building of a first-rate science city. Zhang observed that the cooperation will be a milestone for Guangming in its education development and that the district authorities will support SZTU in building new schools in Guangming.
