The Shenzhen Central and Eastern European Countries Economy and Culture Promotion Association (Shenzhen CEEEC) is a social organization officially registered with the Shenzhen Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau.

Shenzhen-based companies possess unique advantages in terms of geographical location, commercial environment and qualified personnel. To integrate all their advantages and grow with the Belt and Road Initiative, several dozen Shenzhen companies from various industries created the association in Shenzhen on Nov. 11, 2015.

Since its inception, it has actively responded to and implemented China's Belt and Road Initiative, committed to promoting exchanges between Shenzhen and Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC), and carried out economic, trade and investment exchanges, scientific, technological and educational cooperation, and cultural and artistic exchanges. This has resulted in the building of an efficient bridge of friendship between Shenzhen and Central and Eastern European countries, and provides support for friends from all walks of life in both regions.

The association invited business partners from both regions to conduct in-depth discussions and promote the export of Shenzhen's scientific and technological products by hosting the SZ-CEEC Economic, Trade, Science and Culture Fair.

The association also organized the Shenzhen-CEEC Culture Week, which invited art troupes from Central and Eastern European countries to perform in the city for cultural exchanges.
